29th September, 2017 was the night of dandiya sticks clicking together and garba beats at Youthville Hostel Bavdhan.
It being the last day of the auspicious Navratri Festival, the day was brought in with offering aarti towards Maa Durga and opening of fasts by the Youthville residents and staff members.
As for many inmates the offices had ended for the day and the college-goers were back from their studies, they were overjoyed with the welcoming beats of DJ arrangement for the Navratri Mahotsav. Delightfully they got dressed in their shimmering traditionals and gathered together, ready to tap their feet to the DJs beats with their friends and bunkies.
The evening was well chalked out with the series of arrangements for the young lot. It all started with the Dandiya groove with the professional dance troupe to teach them steps especially organized for the inmates, where the young ladies showed competitive enthu, eventually leading to a round of chatter and exchange of jokes amongst themselves.. the night advanced with garba beats, games and loads of fun and frolic.
Their feet came to terms with the day with sumptuous snacks of samosas, chats, canopies, assorted sandwiches, mouth-watering desserts and appetizing drinks like aam pana & jaljeera, arranged by Youthville Hostel for the residents and their guests. Never had they ever experienced in any other PG hostel a joyous environment like this. Everyone reluctantly bid goodbyes and Happy Dussehra in advance to call it a day!
